A set of four small hand thrown stoneware bowls in a milky grey glaze, by Michael Leach (1913-1985) at Yelland Pottery.
Michael Leach was master potter Bernard Leach’s second son. He trained under his father at the Leach pottery in Cornwall before establishing Yelland Pottery in North Devon in 1956, where he stayed until his retirement in 1984.
Stamped with Yelland Pottery mark on the base.
