A small free form crystal lamp base made by Cristallerie Schneider in the 1960s. Etched ‘Schneider’ on the base.

Schneider Cristallerie was established in 1918 just outside Paris as a commercial and decorative glassware company founded by brothers Charles and Ernest Schneider and was known in particular for lamps and vases. The company changed and evolved through out the decades, business was impacted by both World Wars, and eventually closed in 1981.

The lamp has been newly rewired with a twisted cord flex running from the base of the brass lamp holder, and an in-line switch. In good condition.

Please note lampshade is not included.
