A footed stoneware teapot in a tenmoku and ash glaze by Welsh studio pottery, Terry Bell-Hughes, circa 1980s.

After graduating from the seminal Harrow Ceramics course in the 1970s where he was taught by Mick Casson, Bell-Hughes returned to North Wales and set up his own pottery in 1978 with his wife Bev Bell-Hughes.

His work can be found in many prestigious collections, including Amgueddfa Cymru: National Museum Wales, The Royal Museum of Scotland, Ulster Museum, and the Crafts Council in London.

In good condition with a few tiny, faint nibbles to the feet.

No makers mark but examples of similar works of his can be seen online.
