A large jug in a speckled, textured glaze, with a thin pinched spout. Attributed to the Accolay pottery in France, circa 1960s.

The Accolay pottery was established in 1945, by four art and ceramics enthusiasts, Louis Dangon, Slavik Palais, Rodet, and André Boutaud, who transformed an old abandoned factory into a workshop and began designing and producing work. The group of potters grew over the years and became known for their distinct style and variety of products, such as creating buttons for Christian Dior.
